Hospital environment may be conducive to a lot of stress, fear, and emotional conflict for all of us, and particularly the youngest patients. In the project Art with a Bigger Purpose, visual arts as the most important form of non-verbal communication are employed as an important therapeutic approach, transforming the dull environment of the Paediatric clinic in Ljubljana into a child-friendly space with a stimulative effect on the well-being of children, their parents, the visitors, and the hospital staff.
